Covering a great range of Spanish art till 19th century and if you want to have a complete overview of Spanish art you cannot miss the Reina Sofía Museum, Spain’s national museum of 20th century art.Visit of Prado Museum Prado Museum is considered one of the finest collections of European art in the world and the greatest collection of Spanish art that can be found. Based on the former Spanish Royal Collection, nowadays the collection currently comprises around 7,600 paintings, 1,000 sculptures, 4,800 prints and 8,200 drawings, in addition to a large number of historic documents. Don’t worry, we are not going to visit all of them. In the main building only 1,300 works are currently displayed. The size of this collection can cause headaches for visitors trying to choose what to see, that’s why I have designed a nice route of 1 hour and a half to discover the main Spanish masters and their most well-known masterpieces.Visit of Reina Sofia

Museum The Reina Sofía Museum was officially inaugurated on September, 1992, and was named after Queen Sofía. The highlights of the museum include excellent collections of Spain’s three greatest 20th century masters – Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí and Joan Miró. The most famous masterpiece in the museum is Picasso’s most famous painting Guernica. I’ll show you the most important works of the principal artists. This museum is housed in an elegant old hospital building, with a nice terrace on the top from where we’ll discover on of the greatest views of the capital.
